We asked, you voted, and now we’re down to only eight treats left in the Southern Sweets Showdown. And they are:

Hand-Held Treats Region

In one of the regional semi-finals, #8 Goo-Goo Clusters narrowly edged #5 Pecan Pralines with 57% of the vote.

In the other, #6 Lemon Squares took down #10 Oatmeal Creme Pies by the same margin.

Now you get to choose which one moves on to the final four:

Miscellany Region

In the Miscellany Regional semi-finals, 1-seed Sweet Tea drowned the competition, #5 Buttermilk Biscuits & Honey with 86% of the vote.

And #2 Fudge was narrowly upset by #6 Syrup.

In an unlikely regional final pairing, you get to choose between a sweet you drink and one you pour over other sweets:
